Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
Available Adaptive Cruise Control goes beyond the capability of conventional cruise control, employing both radar and camera technology. Adaptive Cruise Control lets you set a cruising speed and distance from the vehicle in front of you, an especially helpful feature in slow traffic conditions. When traffic ahead slows down, you automatically do too, when traffic picks back up, you can resume your preset speed and distance.
Lane-Keeping System
It happens to the best of drivers. A moment of distraction — and you start drifting. But standard Lane-Keeping System can assist you with a camera that scans the lane markings ahead should this occur. The system has three modes: available Lane-Keeping Alert warns you with steering wheel vibrations that simulate driving over a rumble strip. Lane-Keeping Aid applies steering torque to direct you back to the center of the lane. You can set the system to activate either the Alert or Aid mode or both. And there’s Driver Alert that sends out warnings in the message center when it detects repeated lane drifts — a reminder to pull over and take a break.
Blind Spot Assist 1.0
It’s rush hour on the interstate. You’re towing a trailer. And you need to change lanes. If this situation sounds daunting, it usually is. But available Blind Spot Assist 1.0 can help ease lane-change anxiety – even with a trailer in tow. It can alert you not only when a vehicle is spotted in your blindspot but also when one is alongside the trailer.

Enhanced Active Park Assist
Available Active Park Assist helps take the anxiety out of parallel parking. Once the system locates a suitable parking space, you shift, accelerate and brake while the system does the steering. It’s that simple. And if your vehicle is equipped with Enhanced Active Park Assist, you also get help getting out of a tight parallel parking spot, as well as assistance in reverse perpendicular parking. On select 2022 Ford models, you can take the ease of this system a major step further. Just about every operation is now done for you. Depressing the Active Park Assist 2.0 button scans for a suitable parking spot. After stopping, you shift into Neutral, release the brake pedal and hold down the park assist button. The system does the rest — steering, shifting, braking and accelerating. Could it get much easier than this?

3.5L PFDi V6
2022 Transit models have a standard V6 engine with advanced technology delivering responsive performance with ratings of 275 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s a 3.5L V6 engineered with Ford port-fuel/direction-injection (PFDi) system. PFDi features two injectors per cylinder — one mounted in the air intake port, another inside the cylinder — to increase overall performance.
3.5L Ecoboost® V6
The outstanding performance of the 3.5L EcoBoost® is now available across the entire Ford Transit lineup. EcoBoost generates a level of performance you might expect from a larger-displacement engine. Power ratings of 310 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque come courtesy of two technologies: direct injection of fuel quickly into the combustion chambers (instead of intake ports) and twin turbochargers for an instantaneous surge of power with virtually no turbo lag.
