The available Max Trailer Tow Package increases maximum total combined weight (GCWR) and battery and motor cooling capacities, as well as adding a Trailer Brake Controller that lets you adjust the amount of power sent to the trailer brakes right from the center console. These amped-up towing technologies enable 2024 F-150 Lightning® pickups to tow their highest potential load: 7,700 lbs. for XLT models and 10,000 lbs. for FLASH and LARIAT models. It comes standard on Platinum models, for a maximum 8,500 lbs. of available towing power.
With Pro Trailer Backup Assist™, reversing is almost as easy as turning a knob. The camera tracks the trailer while you back up and guide it. Just enter a few measurements into the system, calibrate the trailer, then rotate the knob in the direction you want the trailer to go while the system controls the steering wheel.
The available Smart Hitch estimates the tongue weight (the force the trailer tongue exerts on the hitch ball) of the trailer, helping you manage weight distribution right on your SYNC® touchscreen.
